It's 2010. Humans are gone. Recently, back in 2007, a deadly, airborne disease struck the entire world. It didn't affect the food or any animals that were exposed, so cats, birds, and canines alike roam the empty streets. Houses and buildings were left as they are, still standing. One part of San Francisco, however, is crumbling. Scientists exposed it to radiation and it is quite a dangerous place. Most animals stay away from the area for fear of being exposed to radiation themselves.
There are four packs.
The Nefars
The Gladiators
The Moralls
The Fledgers
The Nefars.
The evil of the evil. They're corrupted and sinful. They won't stop for anything to get rid of the Gladiators and their goody-two shoe members. They think nothing of anyone else but themselves and they cause massive amounts of chaos. They are here to rule the world.
The Gladiators.
The angels. They want nothing more than to have peace on earth. They want the war to be over. But what they don't realize is that they're just as much like the Nefars for they have been urging the war to end as well as their enemies.
The Moralls.
These canines are the darker outcasts of the Nefars. They don't want war, but they aren't on the Gladiator side. They do nothing but sit and watch the two main packs battle out their differences.
The Fledgers.
This pack of dogs consists of the outcasts of the Gladiator pack. They want nothing more than for the war to be over, but they don't help the Gladiators, nor do they help the Nefars. They simply sit and watch the others fight, just like the Moralls.
There isn't much time left before a massive war breaks out between the Gladiators and the Nefars. Soon enough, one of the packs is going to be forced to move elsewhere, looking for food and shelter, while the victorious pack stays and takes over San Francisco.
