Hello Arcane
I long time ago and I am talking so many years I feel old now. There used to be a abandoned site where every one could have fun with members taking care of themselves as there was no admin. In order to update the site to the members more current needs including my own I opened this site. Since then many members have come and gone. To be honest I can't even remember who some of the original players were who followed me here.
We all like to play RP games for one reason or another. For me many years ago this was a saving grace and an escape from some very difficult time. It was also a very rewarding experience to watch myself grow from no body who could barely reach 50 words to an advanced and complex writer who could in one night write a 4000 word post and up. We all come here for one reason or another. Sadly RPGs are dying out and for me personally it has been more then a couple years since I have truly been a active player. I would very much like to change that.
I am also a very different Admin and yet still the same. In order to gain more members I am very hopefully to change things for those of us who still might want to RP or get back into it. That being said I want to take Arcane back to the basics and start back over at square one. Instead of putting all these limitations and having one type of being or plot I want to open the floor to all. To once again let Arcane return to what it once was, a site where the players held the majority of the power!
I am going to cut the site back and everything is up for discussion.
In the past Arcane plots have included, light and dark plots, gods and mortal, humans and horses, horses and wolves and pretty much everything between. Where Arcane goes from here is totally up to its players. I am hoping to simply be a guiding hand. I will admit right now that I am a very busy person. I probably and honestly should not be reopening the site and putting my time and energies here. But I am hoping that in time the site will basically run itself. I am hoping that the girl I once was who would spend 5 hours a day on here, there are others like her who will mostly be running the show. To those few who will read this know now that YES I am looking for help and anything is possible. There is a saying I would like to quote" you get out of it what you put into it".
I am hoping that site staff will be chosen by popular vote. That this site can be all it once was and hopefully more. I will be sending out a mass email to old the old members briefly saying what I am saying here. While I start to work on putting the site back together your input is NEEDED. This is my final attempt to bring this site, let us hope it is not in vain.
