SO as anyone can clearly see I am going to need some help around here to get things up and moving. So I am asking for anyone that might be even remotely interested into contacting me ASAP. As grow our needs will change but for now everything is fair game and I have more then a couple jobs lines up for anyone who may want them.
For right now I am only looking for moderators. That being said I am looking for at least one possibly two co-admins. I have a crazy and honestly at times just want to RP and not deal with the administrative bit. So become a moderator and impress me and guess what you might run the darn thing. Okay so here are some ideas I would like to assign to one person. Moderators generally speaking will help enforce basic rules but their are some other areas that need a little help.
* I need someone to be a God and be responsible for handing out powers. This means not only thinking new powers but also keeping tabs to make sure everyone is using their powers correctly. Plus while we do have magic here in Arcane we don't want it to run rabid around here. Also I just don't want powers being handed to to people who don't deserve them. Powers are a reward/ privilege to have and should be EARNED. So the moderator will send people out on missions and challenges. For instance, you have to win three fights in a row or you have to find a mate or have a kid. Things of that nature. The weaker the power the easier the quest. The greater the power the greater the quest some can take weeks or months to fulfill. Perhaps we could have pre-made quests for the greater powers. That way you don't have to ask to see what you have to to.
* Rulers of each realm. I have been brain storming a way to break up the work load so players can spend more time playing. So here is my quick and easy solutions that gets players more involved with the workings of Arcane. Lets just say for instance that you are king of the west. You would be responsible for everyone inside that realm. Which means you would have to keep and updated list of your choosing showing what cherries are in your territory. It will also be your job to make sure that threads get moved when finished, that word counts are being met.
*Promotions committee. These moderators will be in charge of advertising and getting our name out there. They will also be responsible to create contacts that other sites and deal with any interrelations between sites. This is very important and I am hopeful that players who apply for this position are actually players at other sites as well.
* Artists. This job is to make sure that Arcane is looking it's best. They will be changing the skins and creating banners making sure that Arcane looks appealing and easy to read. They will also be in charge of all the studios of the site making sure that they are productive and not overwhelmed by requests. They also will be responsible for some of the coding as I am not all that good at it myself. I am hoping to find a co-admin who might be able to give Arcane a make-over in this reguard.
